شکسپیر---به جای تاج گل بزرگی که پس از مرگم برای تابوتم

مردی مقابل گل فروشی ایستاد. او می‌خواست دسته گلی برای مادرش که در شهر دیگری بود سفارش دهد تا برایش پست شود.
وقتی از گل فروشی خارج شد٬ دختری را دید که در کنار درب نشسته بود و گریه می‌کرد. مرد نزدیک دختر رفت و از او پرسید : دختر خوب چرا گریه می‌کنی؟
دختر گفت: می‌خواستم برای مادرم یک شاخه گل بخرم ولی پولم کم است. مرد لبخندی زد و گفت: با من بیا٬ من برای تو یک دسته گل خیلی قشنگ می‌خرم تا آن را به مادرت بدهی.
وقتی از گل فروشی خارج می‌شدند دختر در حالی که دسته گل را در دستش گرفته بود لبخندی حاکی از خوشحالی و رضایت بر لب داشت. مرد به دختر گفت: می‌خواهی تو را برسانم؟ دختر گفت: نه، تا قبر مادرم راهی نیست!
مرد دیگرنمی‌توانست چیزی بگوید٬ بغض گلویش را گرفت و دلش شکست. طاقت نیاورد٬ به گل فروشی برگشت٬ دسته گل را پس گرفت و ۲۰۰ کیلومتر رانندگی کرد تا خودش آن را به دست مادرش هدیه بدهد!
